CPEA & CPSA now under BGC
The Board for Global EHS (environmental, health, and safety) Credentialing (BGC) is pleased to announce the addition of the Certified Professional Environmental Auditor® (CPEA®) certification to its family of credentialed practitioners. This credential is under the Board of Environmental, Health & Safety Auditor Certifications (BEAC), which was assumed by The Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA) in 2016 and now moved to BGC on June 1, 2020.
CPEA – Certified Professional Environmental Auditor
The CPEA® credential demonstrates one’s practice of today’s ever-changing environmental, health & safety regulations through four specialties: Environmental Compliance, Health and Safety, Management Systems, Responsible Care® and related auditing procedures, processes, and auditing techniques. CPEAs also qualify for Professional Membership status with the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). The CPEA credentialing program is fully accredited by the Council on Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB).
CPSA – Certified Process Safety Auditor
The CPSA® credential demonstrates one’s practice of important Process Safety elements and regulations for all industries with processes that involve explosive materials and hazardous waste.
BGC has assigned Mr. Paul Rathe and Dr. Yvette Smith to assist credential holders and applicants through the transition.
